Message: This is the new PC I ordered. Here is a link to the specs of the PC.

I did change some stuff on it like getting rid of the extra DVD drive. I lowered the HD down(I don't download and save porn when its free for viewing baby =P) to the 350gb HD. I got the Windows 7 upgrade offer included, which I've only heard great things about. Took all the freebies I could. I changed to a cheaper tower case, I don't know if they really matter other then size and shit but I don't need pretty lights and looks.

I got it down to 720 bucks, so I think I did pretty good for what I was will to spend. It is a pretty massive upgrade over my current PC.
Single core 2.8 ghz processor to a Quad core 3.0 Ghz processor.
4gbs PC3200 DDR ram to 4gbs of PC1333 DDR3 ram. Nvidia 9500 512mb ddr3 video card to ATI Radeon HD 4850 PCI-E 16X 1GB Video Card.
Windows xp SP3 to Windows Vista Home SP1 64bit(till Windows 7)

I expect a huge difference in all the games I play, am sure it will make a huge impact on playing games on low-mid settings right now and being to play on high-Max settings when it comes.

Message: That's a pretty nice PC. Ava as good as Windows 7 sounds it still has a crap-load..... no wait.. SHIT-LOAD amount of bugs. There are tons of software that still don't support it and it's having issues with their new data encryption which is corrupting files randomly. It does run much more smoothly then Vista (I have tried Windows 7 myself). It also has a tons of new features and better controls. Yet, the foundation of it has some major issues that needs to be addressed before goes retail. I also heard of a few security issues with the current build that are huge. If Microsoft fixes these slight issues I think Windows 7 will go out with a bang on the market.

Also the differences from your old PC to your new one is tremendous. Your GOING to notice the difference, I assure you lol.

Message: Sweet that is good to hear. Ya I figured even though I haven't heard bad things about windows 7 that there are still gonna be some bugs and compatibility issues here and there. It looks like they are doing a better job this time around and trying to make sure it will have a good launch.

Message: I'm very happy with my current PC and the XP that it runs. I have contemplated getting an upgrade, but I'm not in any rush. I'm waiting for the unannounced Blizzard MMO, SC2, or Diablo 2 specs to come out before I start contemplating upgrades. Granted, your specs are pretty damn good, but I don't have anything to play right now, so why do I need a better PC to play Farmville and Mafia Wars?

Message: Ya. I usually always purchased on the low-mid end and upgraded as I needed too. A lot of games I played were not graphically intense and a super rig was not needed. I played WoW most of the past years anyways. There are a few games I would like to play on my new PC like DoW2 with everything maxed. I just decided this time I would try and aim for the high side of things.

Message: Aside from the memory and the graphics card, I really haven't upgraded my computer. Yet, maybe I should since I'm using a dual-core which is considered somewhat old now. I think it runs pretty smoothly and I don't really have that many issues running things on maxxed. Though I may update my computer in the next coming year as it has been quite some time (2 years) since I've updated it completely.
